Title: 1970'S? Ceramic Cup With Blue Green Owl Picture

Again I've come to the experts who have taken their time and helped me out in the past.  I'm wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the age of this cup.  The design is what I've seen referred to as possibly retro.  Could this be 1970's or earlier?  is there a value to a collector because of the design.  It appears to be hand made because I don't notice any mold lines and there are imperfections such as the rim being thicker in places and the cup not being completely smooth.  It's 3 1/8 inches tall and holds 8 oz of liquid. The wording Japan is faintly visible on the bottom under the glaze.  Thank you

I have an Aunt that is a serious "Owl" collector. I'm sure she has a set of those cups stacked up in her kitchen.
