This is a round brass plate with ceramic inside. On the back it says 671 jm. It is in fair shape, and a small crack in it and some of the back ceramic is missing. Any clue what this is or what it is worth?

looks like a Stove Pipe Flue Cover to me :)

I have to agree with Wendy! Great Job!!! They are also called chimney covers.
