I see nothing symbolic in its design,,just a unique style !!  Is anything on the bottom ??  Where did you find it ??

Nothing on the bottom. The bottom is hollow, open, I mean that it is uncovered by any kind of felt. You can see at the centre of the bottom the soldered stem(I am not sure if I am explaining myself correctly), and no marks. I bought in in England to an antique selelr who didnīt know much about it.

I would guess that its just a decorative candlestick, probably made in 1900`s !! Impression on the sides is shallow so probably machine done rather than hand made !!  Or a combination of both !! Or could be stamped !!

Would you consider it an interesting piece?

By the way, the candlestick is heavy. This information could be of interest.

I don't know, but...
Regardless of the age or origin, it appears someone spent some time with that candlestick. Looking closely at the decoration, it looks to me that it is hand cut / chased, due to the variation in design features.

All good quality brass is quite heavy !!  Interesting,, yes, but there is nothing on the candlestick that would indicate who made it or where it was made !!  So the best you can say is that it is just a decorative candlestick !!
