Title: comic drawings from the 1930'ties
Post by: gerspee on January 12, 2012, 10:14:24 AM
These 2 very nice and big drawings made in the 19 thirties are still by a unknown artist . So who has seen similar drawings and will share his knowledge with me . Maybe the handwritten titles will give some information ?

Thanks

The bottom one is ; Hotel Voncken Valkenburg   . That's a hotel in the south off Holland . The top one is not easy to read and that's why I think there maybe drawings made by somebody from a other country visiting the Netherlands in the thirties .

I can`t make the letters out and I don`t recognize the cartoons !! You might search that time period for cartoonists and see if you can match the style !! I am sorry I can`t be more help on this one !!
