Title: Questions about a Company & antique chair

Does anyone know who the Stomps-Burkhardt Co was in Dayton Ohio?  I have a antique wood chair with a lions head on it that was #271 either made or imported from this company and I'm trying to get some history on it.  It was my great-great-grandparents wedding gift, I'm guessing late 1800's not sure of the date.  If anyone can give me any information I'd appreciate it!

YEP ABOUT 1890 TO 1930. $350.00 to $400.00 dollars.
