Title: Unusual Coin

Hi

I own a small consignment shop and some one brought in an unusual coin and some other stuff I have no idea what they are or worth. Maybe you guys can help.

Looks like your coin is a 2nd century Trajan, look at this page and scroll down to number 7684, I think this one is the same as yours, but look carefully at the details. Since the example on the Web site is selling for $1200 plus, you need to have this assessed by someone experienced with ancient coins. Some are worth a lot, others are a dime a dozen. Have a local Rabbi look at the Judaica. He should be able to help or direct you.

That is a coin from the reign of Constantine, circa early 4th century.  Check out this link, third one down -- yours is nowhere near as fine, so again, check with a coin dealer who knows about ancient coins.
