Title: Salt and pepper shakers?
Post by: Bwaw on February 05, 2012, 10:37:55 PM
I'm pretty sure these are salt and pepper shakers.  I think the small dishes are salt cellars.  That is about all I've been able to come up with lol.  Could anyone tell me anything else about these?  Are they even antique? Where do they come from?  There is no makers mark or stamp , or signature of any kind that I can fine.  If anyone has come across these before, I would much appreciate any info.  Thank you.

I believe what you have are relatively modern sets, probably for export. Possibly repros of earlier originals.  If you do a Google Image search for cloisonne salt pepper you'll find several examples, such as this........
