Title: Quick and Probably Dumb Lead Crystal Question, What are These?
Post by: KevinM on February 23, 2012, 06:57:55 PM
OK, I know this is probably a dumb question, and I know these look familiar, but I just can't exactly place what they are (I have a few guesses but can't confirm with search results) so can someone please tell me? Yes, another recent thrift store purchase. Oh, they are about 2 3/4 inches long and about 3/4 of an inch tall and the box contained 12 of them. Also, any guess on an approximate value if any?

Thanks!
Kevin

Knife rests !!  Excellent find !!  Value would depend on brand, age, condition ect !!  What is that brand I see ??  Annahoffe ??

Thanks mart! I thought something perhaps for a table setting and silverware, that was one of my guesses but I was not sure. A few say 24 % PBO Genuine Lead Crystall Western Germany, some others say 24% Echt Blie - kristall hochglanzpoliert Annahutte Western Germany. The "tt" in "annahutte" could be "ff" hard to make out. They are in excellent condition, probably used once if at all. As for age I'm not sure, perhaps vintage 60's or 70's?
