Title: Vintage Kindel Side Chair 1940's?

I recently purchased this Kindel Side Chair that I think is from the 1940's. It has been recovered and the original cover may be under the newer cover. It also has an original inspection stamp with it. I've searched the network and can't find another one like it including a price reference for the chair.

What I would like to know is what year/date was this chair made, what type of wood is it made out of and what would be a reasonable asking price for it?

They are still in business.  Looks like 40's to me too.

Late 30`s through 40`s !!  Wood looks like mahogany but has a bit lighter color than some companies used !! Thats why it has gone to the honey tone where the wear is !! Some were really deep red tone !! Or at least thats the way the pic looks !!  But many similar styles are around and value is only about $30. to $40. each !!   There were lots of variations !! Try looking for "40`s Kindle arrow foot chair" !!

Also check "spade foot"  !! However without looking through Kindel`s catalogue from that era,, you may not find your exact chair !! You may find similar ones but that will not change the value !!
