All,
This may be a stumper. I found this in the basement of an old home in Takoma Park, MD (outside of DC). Someone, at the sale said it was a gambling wheel but most gambling wheels do not have the numbers in order. Sharing pictures of both front and back. It is cast iron. Any one have any thoughts?
Thanks for the feedback in advance.

I'd guess that it's not 'gaming-related' also , 2x4misc .
I'd say it's related to an elevator !
(missing #13 is a dead give-away on this opinion!)
-
I was thinking elevator too.

Ha - my wife was saying the same thing after I posted. Any idea on what the B S R K P stands for? (Guess the B for basement).
Thanks!

B- Basement , S- Street level, P- Parking level, R & K have me stumped :)
-
Maybe: R- restaurant
K- Kitchen
Just a guess :-\
-
That was my thought Ricer !! Restaurant, Kitchen !!
-
LOL, ain't very often I beat you to a guess! :o
-
Shucks !! Had company all weekend and was off my game !!! LOL Most all can out guess me !!
-
Yeah, Right! You are pretty good at this stuff;)
-
Ha !! No I am just old enough to remember most of it !!
-
The P could be for penthouse!!!
-
"S" stands for sub-basement , I'd say .
-
I think R is actually Roof, but S appears to follow the R and the only thing comes to mind is Sky, maybe from the wonka factory :D
-
Whoops maybe it starts with the for Sub Basement, then basement Eyes are a bit blury I guess :o, but would the Kitchen be after the Penhouse, gosh this wheel is getting to me :o
-
Also, the proper name is an Elevator Floor Indicator Dial.
The top floors of buildings were individually owned/leased and could be indicated by the letters.
Beat me to it ya'll....R for Roof, S for Sub-basement and B for Basement.
These are hot items for decorators!!!!!
Great site for an idea what is out there!~
