Have this :

Which I have found online between 100-200$, but am more interested in tracking the serial number to see if I can find what elevator it came off of? Anyone know of any ways this can be done, or would I just have to call Otis and see if they can track it?

I think you're right on track , with the idea to contact Otis , pantrwrstl !
I've known folks from the Otis company & have had several 'rides' on high-speed/testing elevators at the company 'test site' for elevators in Moline , Illinios .
I've experienced great relations with various folks from the company & I'd suggest only requesting/asking questions concerning the history of your item, (IMO) .
