I believe the "Kronos" trademark was used by the Schneider company from Leipzig, Germany. I would imagine that 1914-1920 is close to the actual age. The one you are interested in would look much better with a larger decorated shade, in my opinion.

If I was in your neck of the woods I would so go for it!  But note restrictions on where they are selling to!

Just beware the implications of this piece....forced labor was used by this company (Jews) and evokes many different emotions.  Being close to several survivors of the camps....
