Title: Old broken curved glass picture

Anyone have any ideas on this?  I know it's broken and has damage but I am so interested in it's history.

Since it says "Made in Italy" not sure if any great history goes with it !! These were made 1930`s through 50`s as decorative objects and were reproductions "usually" of art pieces and sometimes historical events !! Even late 50`s and early 60`s similar items were for sale at state fair international bldgs !!

The backing is made of particle board. It's a dead giveaway that it can't be too old.

It is interesting and certainly worth keeping !!  Some of these items are collectable and although not too expensive now, may increase in value !! I wish I had sense enough as a kid to buy a few items and keep them !!  They had some really pretty mosaic jewelry back then !!  But I decided popcorn was a better investment !!
