Hello,
I picked up this sheep sheering machine in the back of a barn, Very cool!
I have found out the history of it, but I'm having a hard time putting a price on it.
I don't have the sheering part of it.
I'm sure you guys can help, you are awesome
Thank you

You might find something here !! As far as value,, best I can say is its worth whatever you can talk someone into giving you for it !! Most collectors are generalists and have all kinds of farm equipment and tools !! I have never heard of anyone that collected sheep shearing equipment only and in order to have a value you must have a sales record on that item !! However there are a lot of sheep in Australia and this was mentioned on some of their sites !! They might have a better idea of going price if its working and usable !!

One big problem- You are missing the entire arm and clippers. Here is one that is complete and in working order selling for $95. I am sorry I don't have better news about this one. But that said, I was thinking that this would make a great living history demonstration if you restored it. I wonder if some kind of an artificial sheep could be "sheared" so that kids could try this?

Glue some cotton balls on a styrofoam mount !! A sheep wouldn`t be hard to carve from styrofoam !! Good idea Tales !!
