Title: Gemini poster by Pallini
Post by: Cav686 on March 29, 2012, 12:28:37 PM
Tried to do some research on the name Pallini. No luck. Any thoughts on the value or significance of this piece?

I can't find anything which is baffling. It is a classic Art Nouveau style but a search turned up zero for me. Sorry. It appears like a repro in the picture but that should make the name even easier to find cause copy is the biggest form of flattery. No one copies unknowns.

The artist is actually Jeffrey Palladini.

Great catch on the Palladini, Rauville ...... but I think it's David Mario  ;)

I feel quite special for thinking that it came out of the psychedelic era without knowing much else about it. For obvious reasons, I would assume that there was an entire series of these done.

It looks to me like your poster has been permanently attached to a board (plywood ?). I'm assuming this would devalue it, but have no idea to what degree. Others here might have a better grasp on that.

Here is an art gallery website that lists several of his works. The Gemini in very good condition, never framed has a price of $200.
