Title: Who Can Help Me With This Pair?

Here is a pair tribal figures I picked  up at a fair last summer.
They have no visible markings on them but they are a good weight 12 inches in height.
I hope someone can tell me all about them!

With no markings and no known history, there isn't much to go on.

The seller said Southern Africa but, I didnt find him very convincing!
