Title: Blue Glass Bowls With Folded Rims
Post by: KevinB on April 05, 2012, 03:46:23 PM
I have two blown glass bowls that measure 6.25" x 1" deep. Does anyone know how old these are? Who made them? and Value?

This might be a pattern named "Spiral Flutes". Made by Duncan & Miller. It would be a soup bowl with a rim. Price guide says it's worth $20.00.

Very close but mine are very crude compared to examples I could find of that pattern. I also couldn't find any with the rim folded under. I'm not sure if these are 19th century or are depression era plates that would be given away with the purchase of something like detergent.

Lovely plates/bowls, but these might be very hard to identify with no marks or other info.
