Title: Thames Moss Rose
Post by: TShanks on September 28, 2004, 09:39:20 AM
I have a set of Thames Moss Rose china that belonged to an 87 year old woman. How can I find the value of this set?

I also have a matching small tea set. Value?

Here's your set -

http://www.replacements.com/webquote/THAMOR.htm (http://www.replacements.com/webquote/THAMOR.htm)

these are high retail replacement values, wonderful for insurance purposes - for you to sell, expect to reduce your price by 1/3rd to 1/2 - these reductions are not set in stone however.  Moss Rose is a popular design with many companies and over the years -

I couldn't find any info on the company, as to whether it's English, or not.  You didn't mention a country of origin, so assume USA?  Any other info on the backstamp?  And is the tea set marked the same, Thames?   KB
