Title: Les Baux de Provence Wine
Post by: AlQuds on April 10, 2012, 10:41:35 AM
Had this bottle of wine for a while now, it was given to my father by one of his old friends. It appears to have originated in the Caves de Saggaran winery in the Les Baux de Provence region of France. Any of information on the age of the wine or a price estimate would be appreciated. Thanks.

Without looking it up yet,, it appears that this wine was intended to be drank while young !! It isn`t in a bottle intended for storage I don`t think !! But I will check !! Have you kept it at the proper temperature for storage ?? It looks like you have had some evaporation there !!
I don`t guess you know what variety this wine is do you ??  It should say somewhere !!  http://www.caves-sarragan.com/terroir-anglais.htm  You might need to contact them to find out !! Not all wines appreciate in value !! Some are just for drinking and some turn to vinegar if not stored properly !! Even if it does,, it makes great vinagrette for salads !!
