So I bought this what seems to be pewter pint glass today......it has a stamp on bottom that says Gaskell Chambers LTD Birmingham Made in England......then at the top of the glass next to handle is a mark of GR6 and under it says PINT then next to that is stamped 47.....Its obvious who the maker is but I could not find the exact same glass with the same markings in my research....And since this group is awesome I was hoping you could help.....

More info: The GR over 6 is a capacity verification mark (verifying how much it will hold) The 47 means it was made in 1947, so now we know how old it is! Here is where I found this information given for a similar half pint example:
