Title: Maybe not 1960's Gouda candlesticks
Post by: Technohippy on April 13, 2012, 04:37:16 PM
Hi there, wondering if i could pick your collective brains. just recently picked up some lovely candlesticks from a carboot sale for £2 one of which I know to be a Limoges. The other 2 were a matching pair of what I was later advised were 1960's Gouda from the Ivora factory.

However there are no markings and I have since been advised they are most likely not Gouda... So... where do they come from? and what is their likely worth?

your thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I have looked at the signed marked pieces and at yours and I think yours are just a similar style,, pretty new from looking at the bottom !!  But not Gouda !!  Just a look a like !!  They are very pretty though !!  I like anything as long as its blue !!

LOL  !!  I think shipping from the UK to Texas might make them a bit pricey !!

yeah, you're probably right, might be worth it if they were gouda!
