Title: Little Golden Books Can Bring Big Bucks!
Post by: talesofthesevenseas on April 16, 2012, 12:56:41 PM: Check your book shelves folks, it looks like 1942 first editions of those Little Golden Books we all grew up with can sell for over $100! Keep an eye out for these at garage sales.

Post by: talesofthesevenseas on April 16, 2012, 01:04:05 PM: Off the top of my head I know I have old copies of the Pokey Little Puppy, the Animals of Farmer Jones and the Saggy Baggy Elephant. I will have to check the publication dates. I got all of these in a huge bag of books at a garage sale when my son was little in the late 1980's. They came from a preschool that had closed and there are quite a few that date to the 1940's, so I'll see if I have any good ones.
