Title: Can`t find this pottery mark,,Help !!

Daughter bought a small covered bowl,, mid century style with a mark that has an A over an S inside a circle !!  Can not find anything on this mark !! Does someone here have a book of pottery marks that might help ???

Not yet !!  Been in the garden most of today !! Was going to do that tonight but wasn`t sure he had pottery/ stoneware ect !!  I just couldn`t find anything on google or ebay !!

That is one of those things that is almost impossible to find on google the letter AS even if put in quotes spell a common two letter word.
There is another great site for mid century www.modish.net  which might turn up something

Well I have been doing what I normally do on something like this and putting "A over S inside circle, mark, pottery" !! Usually it works for something like this !! Not this time though !! I have already looked through several sites on marks but not that one !!  Thanks Frogpatch,, will look now !!

I really would like to help you. Your so helpful to everyonr else. I got out my Kovels's Dictionary of marks. Here's the thing I don't see anything identical. I was wondering if it could be an old piece of Royal Copenhagen. I'll keep looking.

Thanks for looking greenacres !! Its such a new looking piece I thought it would be a breeze to find !! But I haven`t hit on anything on any site I went to !!  Odd !!

It's really confusing. I don't think it's Royal Copenhagen Allumina because I checked the images and they are not right. I ant to check this company AmstelHoek. I've never heard of it, but there's something about their symbol that is so similar.
