I have no idea of the era or the value. If someone does I would be greatly appreciative. People always want it but I won't sell.

Who are the men in the 3 little pictures? Your photo isn't clear. Is it a painting or a poster? Is it done on a shutter or a saloon door?

Looks like a pretty typical 70`s era decoupage !! Reprints of old posters or prints or anything of historical or public interest was torn or singed around the edges, glued to a board frame like this, antiqueing medium was used to age the front, and then decoupage medium was brushed over all !!

Thanks mart! The picture is so blurry. I knew something didn't look right.

Back when that was popular you would see everything from wanted posters of western outlaws to presidents to baking powder ads !! A company in California even produced them and sold the ones already done,, like this,, at flea markets nation wide for people that were not crafters !! I occassionally still find them here in Texas !!

My ex wife used to decoupage everything. It was as popular as macrame, candle making and studio pottery was back then. The pottery is just starting to get attention from some collectors. I am talking about thrown pottery not those ceramics class things.

There used to be a ceramic shop or two in every small town around here !!
