-
If you will put this on the Questions forum,, someone may know,, also a better pic and a description would help !! This forum is not normally used to get info about an object !! Will try to help but we need more information !! Any markings on it ??
-
Ditto what mart said. In the Questions forum you'll get a lot more views and input.
First thought that came to my mind was a billy club.......but without knowing size or any other detail that could be way out of the ballpark.
Measurements, is that a leather strap (loop?), is the end bound in leather, any markings? Any info you can supply along with clear pics from different angles would help in indentifying. ;)
Played with the pic just to see if I could see more though

Did it screw onto anything? (Are threads visibly or wear marks where it might have the end slip into something? LIke an umbrella gun?

I would be wary of this one being a billy club. Too easy to shoot yourself while clubbing the culprit!
You might enjoy this sight with all kinds of unusual guns/pistols.

I have collected pics and info on different ones for years....Find them interesting having working in law enforcement in my younger years!

I would take this to your local gun shop. They should be able to tell you how it functions at the very least.
-
To me it looks like a "tear gas billy club" from the 1920's.
-
I am clueless !! Is the front part solid ?? Like hard rubber ?? Can it be taken apart ??
-
Rauville....you got it!!!!!
