Title: Glass Bulldog Candy Dish

I have this Clear Glass Bulldog that stands on all four legs.  The back lifts off and it is hollow in the back which makes it look like a candy dish?  I cannot find anything on this piece.  I was at a Antique show and someone had one and showed it to me in a book, but I cannot rememeber which book.  Hope someone can help.
