My wife recieved this desk from her grandmother. She really would like to know more about it and its possible value.

Now, to me it looks like the electrical lighting was added later, because the manufacture is European but the patent on the electrical plugin is USA

I would have to assume the electric light was a later addition. As far as the desk itself, on this side of the ocean, the term "Larkin" always comes to mind in regard to those drop-front models.

Trevor Page and Company is still in business. They were established in 1913, so your desk was made sometime after that. I would contact the company directly, they should be able to identify the date range when your desk was made.
