Title: Antique China Hutch
Post by: brittanymgraham on May 24, 2012, 09:18:23 AM
Hello all what do you think about this hutch. Maybe some history and how much do you think it might be worth.
Thank You

This does not appear antique to me. I think it is 1960's - 1980's, possibly even later. I think if you look at the back you'll see modern materials like particle board, plywood, Phillips-head screws and the like. Also is that interior lighting that I'm seeing in these pics? That would be another dead-giveaway of a modern, mass-manufactured piece. Sorry if that is disappointing news! I don't think there is much value hear, there are many like this on Craigslist for under $200.

Very similar to a bedroom set we owned from the early 70's. Tales is right on with the under $200. Hard to unload the bulky, ornate mass produced stuff where I am.
