Hi Everyone,
I'm fairly new at this. Essentially, I inherited a whole bunch of things from my grandmother when she passed away. Something that I've always loved were these two bookends. I found our they were from Armor Bronze (which by doing some research looks like a fairly common distributer of these) but I've never seen ones like the two I have. I've seen one picture of the girl one but someone was selling it for like 1200.00. Just curious about the history, price and if anyone knows a little more about these. Any help is appreciated :)

Most bronzes have a name or title on them along with the artists name and sometimes a signature !! Do these have anything other than the foundry name ??

Unfortunately, all I could find was the little gold sticker on the bottom saying Armor Bronze :(
I looked all over it for a name at first and I couldn't see anything.

jackieee are your figures bronze or 'bronzed' i.e. bronze over chalkware? I found your 'Wisdom' and 'Knowledge' but they are bronzed. Also, they are reversed in position. The pair sold in July 2005 for $150. They have their names on the bases.

There was also a pair of two 'Wisdom' (again, in reverse and bronzed) sold in April 2011 for $175

Not sure, they are very heavy. Like I said, I'm super new to anything antique... Thank you so much for finding that for me. Weird that mine don't have words on them... Neither one of them have the words on the front like these two, maybe these were made incorrectly? Not sure... But thank you so much again :)
