Post by: BeardedBird on June 01, 2012, 08:01:57 PM
Any info. or estimates on value on this little guy?  His back has Germany

Very nice and the boy dolls can be quite collectable since there were generally less of them made than the girl dolls. What is the length from head to toe?

There's a very similar one dated to about 1920-ish on this page: http://swimyellowduck.com/ (http://swimyellowduck.com/) In the early 1900's they made many styles of these little porcelain dolls. They are wonderful to collect. Since they are individually hand painted, each one has a unique look and 'personality'.
