I have two mirrored, reverse etched, reverse painted panels. They are approximately 16 X 13 3/4 inches. They are in a pastel pink and green paint. The artists name, which is also etched in the glass, appears to be Franq Grotz. I could find nothing online resembling these and nothing online about the artist. The painting itself is in good condition, it is the mirroring that is peeling. There is also a couple of chips in the glass around the edge of the panels. Help!!!!???? (Mirrors are hard to take photos of . . . )

If they are reversed paintings the front should be perfectly smooth !! All work was done on the back only !! Is this right ?? What is etched besides the name ?? Is it done on the front ??

They are entirely smooth on the front, including the artists signature. Thanks! :)

Maybe a better photo might help. I know because of the glass it super glare, but can I see it dead on. I would like to see a picture better, her face is to far away. I just had the same problem. If it's etched deep you could try paper and pencil. Rub the pencil over the paper over the etching and see what comes out.

What is etched other than the name ?? Really need a good pic of that name !! And like Greenacres said,, the whole pic if possible !!

Okay, I'm sorry, I was wrong. The artist's name is etched on the front. I am also uploading better pictures. These are the best I can take. Thank you for your help.
