Title: fahys elgin copper pocket watch

I have a copper fahys montauk no 1 elgin pocket watch it had 3 stones set in the back and the serial number is 579615. Just looking for some info like year and a bit of history on it. I am fixing to try and take some pictures, but the only net i have is my phone so dont know if ill be able to post them everyone has always been good to me here and thanks ahead of time.

If that is the Elgin movement serial number (not the case number), it would date back to 1878-79. Hope you can post a picture.

I believe its the case number still trying to figure out how to get the pics on here attach isn't working from phone tried 1 image host gonna try another

Found serial number in watch it is 4977221
The inside of it looks gold is that possible to be real gold? It has a couple of cracks on face missing hand and doesn't wind up missing 2 of 3 stones assuming diamond its a shame really but was free and cool what is top and bottom value not gonna sell cause bro gave it to me just trying to find out as much as I can

Elgin produced the movement in 1893. My eyes are kinda blurry, but I would say that it's a gold filled case. Nice old watch, but not a high dollar model with that lower grade movement.
