Title: Antique 1581 picture

I am looking to determine it's origin and maybe something about the artist.
The only leads that I have to go on is "NOBLE DAME DE VENISE". The name on the painting is Charles Breyer. I also have  a large selection of beautiful paintings. I would like to research them all if anyone can help me here's my email address.

Please give me a few ways that I can investigate these items.

There is some very limited information you can get without a subscription, and I have been very pleased with the quality, but I would recommend buying at least a limited subscription if you have many paintings.  

Before you do that, you might want to "google" the artists - some very lovely paintings are by relatively unknown artists.  The site above deals with those artists who've had pics auctioned, exhibited, etc.     KB
