Title: Analog electronics
Post by: Dyon51 on June 12, 2012, 12:55:01 PM
Going through some of my parents' stuff, trying to clear more space.

I am finding a bunch of analog stereo players, phonographs, large wooden speakers probably from the 1960's and 1970's, and a lot of records (mostly classical and some Broadway shows).  Is there any kind of market for any of this?  I don't even see a category for it on E-bay.

There is a market for quality speakers and turntables but you really need to do your homework. I have seen certain speakers sell for a lot and others that had little value. Turntables are purchased by record collectors and DJs

Search e-bay by the brand name; you may get some good values that way.

Some analog electronics are worth something to collectors, but for most of it.....don't hold your breath. :'(
