Title: Credenza / Buffet & Side Table
Post by: BryceTheDragon on June 15, 2012, 01:55:28 PM
Hello!  I am moving and am trying to get fair value for my grandparent's furniture.  Does anyone know the approximate value of these two things?

THANKS!

Hi there and welcome to our group !!  The table is a Duncan Phyfe repro. from the 30`s or 40`s and with the damage on top,, not worth much !! Maybe $30. if you can find someone that wants to restore it !! I still have a few of these tables in storage !!  They are common and can be found easily !! The credenza is in better condition and is from the 50`s or there about !!  Mid century modern is popular in some areas and quality pieces can bring good money !!  However they are few and far between so likely yours is a piece that many would have had during that era !!  You might check for a mfrs name on the back or bottom !! For a piece like this in good condition,, it might bring $200. !!  Its interesting with the dual wood front but a common design !!
