Hi All,
We have a mystery item in our house which is believed to be from WWII period and brought to the UK shortly after the surrender of Singapore.
So Japan or Singapore and was around in 1940s (possibly made before).
I cant seem to find anything online that's similar. It may just be a cheap souvenir but would be good to know its source as the story it has in our family is very interesting!

You need to put up more pictures from other angles. We are looking down and can't really tell what we are looking at.

Would this be a "brush rest"?

Sorry for the late response. I'll get some more pics up soon. Thanks for the interest :)

Also, please put a ruler or something recognizable next to it so we can get an idea of size! :)
Any markings on it?
