Title: ship or tug boat whistle
Post by: greenacres on June 23, 2012, 01:26:24 PM
This was my grandfather's tug boat or ship whistle. They don't seem to be that valuable, but I can't seem to find info.

Yours looks like a bullet style that I saw while growing up.  What is the tip made of?

Here's a nice whistle museum - if you can't find it - at least inquire here.

KC for some reason the sight didn't come up. Could you please post it one more time.

You're welcome.  I find the site very interesting and I am not a die-hard whistle person.

Didn't know there were so many kinds till I started searching years back.  This is one of the best to show many examples.
