Title: Best site to sell items!

I am getting the impression that many people are disenchanted with Ebay or that Ebay isn't always the best option for selling vintage or antique items.  I am wondering what everyone considers the best place to list these type of items. 

I have seen a few other sites such as Etsy but haven't looked into listing costs or any other particulars.  And I am wondering where everyone has the most success.
