These came with the house I just bought, I have doubles of them. A friend of mine thought they were worth something, just looking to see if somebody can tell me anything about them?
Please and thank you!

Need more views of the chair. Looks 20th century..

Looks like mid century hard rock maple !! Late 50`s early 60`s !! Rollers or casters on front ??
-
Definitely been reupholstered. Comfy set!
-
Remember the den sets KC ?? Think this is part of one !!
-
Here's a couple more pics. Took some of the second rocker as well
-
here's the bottom of the first rocker

"Americana." Well, at least you know the name of the model! :)
I"ll stick with mid-century. Unfortunately, rockers of any era tend not to be worth as much as you'd hope.
-
Yep !! Mid century !! Might get $15. or $20. for rocker and footstool pair !! Some might be decorating retro !!
-
Don't feel bad at $20.00.
My wife has a walnut hoop-skirt rocker that belonged to her great-great grandmother, and I've got one made of ash that belonged to my great grandmother. Both have been restored, including the stitch caning, and we'd be VERY lucky to even get $200 for each of them. Probably more like $150 on a good day.

I love rockers, they are really under appreciated. Maybe consider keeping this as a nice little porch rocker?
-
After "dens" went out of fashion many used these on porches, decks or garden rooms !!

I do love a good rocker. I agree that they're under appreciated. Cute set.
