Does it have holes in the top?

Does it have a lid on the top approximately 3"-4" in diameter? If so, I would guess that a candle goes in there, and the holes are make neat designs with the candlelight. Looks Portuguese to me anyways. ;)

As I read it,, painted in Portugal, MIH at the bottom,, Made in Holland ?? There are so many things like this imported and shipped all over the world that you just have to follow the trail !!

As put there....it does look like the lid to something....but if not found out....it is a paper weight.

Its about 10 inches in diamater and about 8 in in height what about the name NAN FREITAS?
