[img]My friend has a coffee cup that he has inherited from his great grandfather. It is white porcelain (see photo album in link below), has gold leaf ornaments and bears the mark of "Friederike KPM A.D. 1884 Germany" and the number "53" printed in silver underneath.

Now, I have done some research and found out that it was probably made at the factory of Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur A.G. in Germany some time between 1934 and 1945.
I would like to know if anyone has more information about the set this cup belongs to, and what the value of this piece and a total set would be today?
This is my first post in here, so I'm eagerly hoping for a reply.
Thank you,
Nox

If it's not from the 1880s, it sounds like a memorial cup of some kind.
And your English is perfectly adequate!
