Hello,
(http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n481/sjfrank88/lamp.jpg)
Anyone have any idea on how old this lamp might be? the lamp socket says Leviton, im guessin they made the lamp but I am not sure if the wiring is original or not. On the underside there is a marking 369(or 229) any idea what type of glass the center part is?
Thanks

Your lamp looks like the repros of older styles made in the 60`s !! Newer wiring and fixtures !! This company made a lot of table lamps in various styles !! Just red glass !!

Good eye mart!! Def repo with red glass, but very pretty

LOL,,The antiqued bottom gave it away !! I remember all that stuff !!

Thank you! I knew it was some sort of reporduction since the switch is just decoration. But had no idea from what decade. I love this lamp. It filters light really nicely through the glass. We bought a 1890s farm house and I found a box of things in the attic. Lots of older kitchen equipment. But those have patent numbers so I found their worth. Since the house is old, I really don't want to decorate it with pottery barn stuff etc. I would like to get as much period pieces that would of fit in the house at the time it was made.

1890s farm house ohhh must be charming!! The lamp is beautiful even though it is a repo Go and get a very ornate shade and it will be stunning!!

One with the beaded fringe would be nice !! You will have to post some pics of your house in the Projects section !! We would love to see it !!
