I just wanted to comment on this board in general.  Even when I am not posting random items I am coming across while sorting through 3 households of "stuff", I am reading and learning on this board.  The combined knowledge of everyone here amazes me all the time.  This has been such a busy board lately with all types of items being posted and help requested and there is always someone willing to take the time to assist.  For mart, kc, wendy, ghopper, tales, fancypants and anyone else I might have missed, I thank you for dedicating your time and knowledge especially in the busy world we all live in today.

Everyone on this board is welcoming and patient when it comes to those of us who are so new to the vintage/antique field of interest.  So hats off to each of you and thank you again.  I know I have learned so so much.

You are welcome ....... and I think it is safe to say that it is something we all enjoying doing.

Like they say, "Two heads are better than one" when solving problems ...... and a whole bunch is even better.

That is so nice to hear someone say !! Often they just leave and we hear nothing !!  So glad you joined and like our little group !!  We all enjoy helping others learn about their treasures !!  And we learn as well !!

Maybe it was Mark Twain that said something like:
“The best way to help yourself, is to help someone else first.” 
I’ve found that this is a great place to follow that advice. :)

Thanks for the acknowledgement to a fine set of people spread all around the world!  We enjoy doing this and helping people out...and best of all WE ALL LEARN new information about "old" items all of the time!
