My brother found this on a beach many many years ago. I had kept if for some strange reason, but was wondering what it was. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

It states on that site,, that it is private so can't even see the picture
-
Okay, I'll try and take care of that
-
What is it made of and what beach did you find it on ??
-
It feels and weighs a bit like stone but it is extremely thin. Maybe some kind of old pottery, not sure. I think it was found on a west coast Canada beach but not really sure.

It looks like metal !! Can you take a pic of the bottom and post it here !! Cant enlarge on that other site !! Could be from a shipwreck !!
-
Maybe the shell for a table lighter? Ronson or Evans???

It looks like it's shiny in the pictures (first set of pictures) which makes me think it's pewter or some type of pot metal or spelter from the hole in it the way it's broken off. It also looks very old perhaps from an old shipwreck.

Agree!
Maybe the shell for a table lighter? Ronson or Evans???
-
In fact, it is the "Crown" quadruple silverplated table lighter by Ronson 1936
