Title: Dating a Persian copper vase
Post by: ANCIENTONE on August 28, 2012, 04:02:23 PM
Purchased at an antique mall a few years ago. They had no info except what was on the base. It is 6" by 2 1/2". Any help with dating would be much appreciated.

I could,nt resist it!!

this is a curious little bottle,it could only really be used for holding oil,and not very much of it...as anything else would create copper sulphate, which if digested.....would,nt be nice on your inside,s....

You should have said something like "Don't try anything on the first date".  :D

This has what looks to be solder on base. Any guess as to age?
