Hello all, im new here. I have been searching long and hard for a lamp i have. It was passed down from my great great aunt after she passed. I was always fond of it as a kid so it was left to me. It is covered in a variety of gemstones. Approx 1.5 feet tall The top comes off and the inside is hollow thats where you put the lightbulb. Im unsure of where it came from, she lives in germany puerto rico and newyork. I cannot find anything similar to it online. Can someone let me know how to add a picture so i can post a picture :)

To add a picture that is stored on your pc is simple...when posting a pic, click on additional options, then on browse, then when you find the pic you want from your documents file, click on it,then save it,then post topic...simples

appears to be a homemade lamp to me too but need to see that bottom and inside, top too !! is wiring modern ??

Also please dim the lights and take a photo of your lamp on so we can see the shades of rock when light comes from behind.

you,say that the light bulb goes inside...i must assume then that the body is translucent...and the light comes through the stones...which look like a mix of quartz and agates...
