Title: Identify Silver & Ceramic Studio Candy Dish?

This is a Silver & Ceramic Studio candy dish that I purchased yesterday and was wondering if anyone could identify the artist and or studio that may have made it. Also what this particular technique used to make the candy dish might be called?

The candy dish is about 7 1/2 inched wide and about 5 inches in height. There is writing on the bottom which I can partially make out. It looks like it may be "Chan Pia Studios Silver U.S.A." or " some name Sterling Silver U.S.A."

KevinM this is what is called weeping silver, I do know of 2 companies off the top of my head that produced weeping silver , gold and palladium finishes. Swetye Ceramic Artware - Salem, Ohio  and Kingwood Ceramics. Try searching weeping silver center handeled candy dish and hunt for a match!  :)
