Title: New York worlds fairs tin templates?
Post by: mriddle005 on September 17, 2012, 08:03:36 PM: Found some tin plates that appear to be the template for some dinner plates from the 64/65 New York World's Fair. Cannot find anything like them anywhere on the internet. Anyone seen anything like these? Do we know if they have any value? Thank you!

Post by: mriddle005 on September 19, 2012, 10:46:41 AM: The plates are roughly 8 1/16" x 5 15/16". I found them in my garage when I purchased my house and tossed them aside. Finally going back through some things and came back across them. Anyone know if there is any value in these pre-production items? I have been looking around and cannot seem to find anything on these.

relief stencil may be the word you,re looking for....like litho plates or masters for churning out tin plates of no real value....
