Found some tin plates that appear to be the template for some dinner plates from the 64/65 New York World's Fair. Cannot find anything like them anywhere on the internet. Anyone seen anything like these? Do we know if they have any value? Thank you!

What are the measurements of these pieces? If they're in the range of 7" x 5" I think they may be preproduction souvenir trays.

Yeah,,its an early burd...that catches the worm!...and it looks like this burd...has done it....a box of Mackintosh Reds for this early riser..... ;D

The plates are roughly 8 1/16" x 5 15/16". I found them in my garage when I purchased my house and tossed them aside. Finally going back through some things and came back across them. Anyone know if there is any value in these pre-production items? I have been looking around and cannot seem to find anything on these.

Right, I've found plenty of the actual trays out there. I just cannot find anything pre-production like I have.

I think what mriddle has are the printed 'blanks' (don't know the real term) that were inserted into a press to form the trays. Hence my use of 'pre production' in my earlier post. ;)

relief stencil may be the word you,re looking for....like litho plates or masters for churning out tin plates of no real value....
