Cool moon... is that a blue moon, 1/3 third of a moon? Or what exactly is a blue moon anyways? I think it means a lot of different things or is defined a lot of different ways...

Lots of pottery moon items have been made over the years - can't say as I have ever seen a wooden painted one.  A first.

Especially denoting the blue moon (which we just had recently) - can be either the 3rd full moon in a season that normally has four full moons OR the 2nd full moon in a calendar month (the one that just happened)  It isn't usually blue UNLESS there is lots of smoke/haze in the air which causes it to appear blue!
