Title: A Slaver's Adventures on Sea and Land 1891
Post by: yellowrose84 on September 19, 2012, 04:17:43 PM
"A Slaver's Adventures on Sea and Land" by WM. H. Thomes. I know this book was originally published in 1872 and this version is from 1891. What I can't find is one like it online. I know the book has been republished many times over and is still available via Barnes & Noble online. I wanted to know if anyone knows if this type of book is worth anything and anything more about the author. I love looking up books and art.

I found this book at my local thrift store right by my house.

Thank you and take care.

It's not in very good condition, and it's not a first edition, but maybe there's still some value. Wait and see what others might say. I'll see what else I can find.

abebooks.com is also a useful site.

I hate to say it, but I doubt it's worth more than a couple of dollars. It's in rough shape to say the least.

Virtually worthless, except as reading material  ;)

I think it's pretty cool. I'm going to keep it. I usually collect children's books but this spoke to me. I love looking up art and books.

Thanks for all the replies.
